Never been one of my fave Viper designs but that sir, is a top notch piece of work! The overall finish and weathering is the thing for me here, it's not quite the 'in your face, beaten to hell and back with stops along the way' wear and damage and that's just how this should be to me. All there but not screamingly obvious.
Like that, like it a lot!

Thanks guys!

Cosmic x, the overall color was testors MM acrylic US navy blue grey lightened with white to the shade I liked. Aluminum for the exposed metal areas. The flash picture is more accurate to what the base color looks like, I hate taking pictures and for some reason when the flash isn't on the ships base color looks more grey, but when the flash is on the weathering is lost :S.

Here is a link to my photobucket folder with the pictures and more but at a more friendly size.

Sure did. That flatness and overall look of the weathering is accurate, just the base color is off for some reason.

Well if I may and assuming the weather plays ball in your part of the globe, how about taking a pic or three outside in just natural daylight?
I'm no pic snapping expert but I always try to take pics of my finished stuff outside when I can. For some reason, it's just seems to make it look as it should.
Just a suggestion on my part though.

I'm for seeing these models at thier best and to me that's without artificial indoor lighting and/or using direct camera flash for example. This is the kinda work that deserves to be seen at it's best in my humble opinion for whatever that's worth

May not love the design in any way meself but the work ya put into it, yep, that deserves to be seen proper.
But as I said, just a suggestion me modeling mucka
