Default They Say There's No Devil Jim, But....
Ok.. the title gives this away. For the past year, I have taken the 22" and have been converting it to the Constellation. I have been scratch building the interior and have FO and leds laid out for her. After seeing the modman06 PL refit all blown up... lets just say he has motovated me to pick this one up and start on her again.

This is what I have so far....

first shot is of the lower saucer section. Next two is close ups of the forward section. Next is the side for the next four shots.

Now this next one I like.... in Hollywood Tradition... I threw in a rowboat to make it interesting!

Just breaking it up a bit.

On to show what else....

This shows the walls I put in... towards the center of the lower hull. It is wired with FO and will have a flashing LED that will be visible from underneath. The next shot shows how it will look from underneath.

The third shot is an up look view of the front of the lower saucer section. I have given it a coating of silver.... after I had primed it for the purposes of doing chipping on it with either the salt method or sand method... once the base coat is applied.

Well... I can't let you have all the fun!

But you did put the bug back in me to start this up again.

I have also done some work on the nacells and the engineer section. Will post some images later on when I'm happy with the outcome.

Colors... been thinking about that. They seem to be more on the pastel side of the color board I think.

Any way... did anyone see the 1/177th scale dead crewman in image two? I have put a few interesting things in this. There is a ruler, rowboat, holstered gun... to name a few.

I even put FO in the walls for the flashing red alert beacon!

Most of the LEDS in this portion have been tested and I have been taking notes as to what I have done with this.

Well... I just finished up on a figure kit so I guess now I have no excuse not to go back to work on this kit!

Ok... this is what I have done so far. This is the top section of the upper saucer section. The silver is there for when I put the base color on it, the silver will be revealed once the base color is removed to represent scratches, etc.







Here is a view of an area exposed to space due to an explosion...





There is a FO in this exposed piece of equipment that will flash once it is up and running.
