Atomic City (Captain Cardboard) Botany Bay
This is the 1/2 studio scale Botany Bay put out by Captain Cardboard, it's a really nice kit and was alot of fun to work on. I'm still waiting for some parts for it's stand but I decided I'd go ahead and try to take a few pics of it now while I had some free time...some of them came out a little dark though. While adding weathering I tried to keep in mind what Spock said about the hull being pitted with meteor strikes, and consistent with 200+ years of neglect. A combination of dremel tool, airbrush, pastels and brush painting was done to achieve the final look. Hopefully I'll have time to take some better pics when I get the stand finished.
