Kuhn Global BLUE SCREEN - RED 3 built by REL
ALL NEW PHOTOS ADDED AS THUMBNAILS 3/25/08!!!!
___________________________ I know I have shown this piece before, but I decided to photograph the collection all with the new BLUE SCREEN to eventually show in an online gallery for all to view.  Here again is the Salzo HERO Kit which Richard (REL) replicated from the Lucasfilm Archives Red 3 used in Episode IV, A New Hope. He did a BEAUTIFUL job as usual!

Beautiful photography. That was a fun build, I got to try out new techniques and had a great time.

I like the way he gave it a 3-D effect by having Red 3 slightly out of frame. That along with the trench motion blur, gives this composition a sense of excitement!

That last pic is a killer Kurt, i still gawp at all of these way back when you first started shooting them.
Ill be bugging you for tips hopefully this weekend as ive got my screen sorted, just need to pick up some decent lamps. Just want to shoot the Red Leader and especially the Red Jammer Y as i have no decent pics of her as yet, cool if i pic your grey matter Mr K lol? bests.....lee

Y'know what, that's a stompingly great idea Cobywan. Perhaps one day, a whole video tutorial/document on a build from start to finish. (Or at least highlights or something).
Something to think about maybe.
