Small Millennium Falcon

Just thought I'd toss these out into the forum since I'm wasting so much time on this computer . This is the Falcon from the Hoth Base set, detailed to the bone but I would change some things today. I built this back in 2003.

It's 5-and-a-half inches in length, just shy of 4 inches in width.

I agree! I can't seem to do anything smaller than 1/1000 and that depends on the subject. It really looks like a bigger model! Nice job indeed!

That is outstanding! Those falcons are small but your detail work makes it look oh so big.

yea.. i totally was expecting this to be at least a foot long or something. That's a lot of detail for something so small. very nice work!

That's a good question. I intended to build it last....and I'm still intending.

Great job on that, Jeff. One of the nicest, cleanest detail jobs I've seen on that particular kit.

Wish I could've seen it in person when you brought it here for the contest a couple years back.

Yeah, I see the Hoth Base kit on eBay all the time and for cheap. This is the set that also comes with the small Rebel Transport.

The sidewalls were fun to build and not that difficult, though I think they're too high.
