Hi all, decided to actually get some building done, the problem with ADD is working on many things at once and not finishing any, hopefully I can build 3 at once, have the Jesse Viper, The F&M Viper & the Howlin Wolf Blackbird, have never lit anymodels before so this will be new to me, I do have the Apollo version of the Viper Mk II, but am going to build mine as Starbuck, (Apollos been too disrepectful to his daddy and he got the Blackbird destroyed so I'm holding that against him) my biggest problem thus far is lighting the Starbuck head, the Adama was clear solving that problem, any ideas about the best way to do that?, I do have the clear Viper Pilot for the Jesse Viper, I just cant find them in my messy house yet, so here goes 3 Models at once hopefully I can get em done in less than 3 years

Look forward to seeing your progress.
P.S. I think Daddy was the one who disrespected Apollo, not the other way around Chris

ok heres a bit more progress, the Jesse Viper has only really one mold line that needs putty, I like using the A+B epoxy putty because it doenst shrink, I'm old enough to remeber the dark ages of modleing when we had squadron green putty bleeechhh, used carefully sanding is very minimal with the putty, theres always some extra putty and I'm using that on my Capt Cardbaord D-7, the Frank and Moe Viper is having some parts washed I'm starting on it soon but thinking alot about how to light it, the stand that came with is beautiful so I'm going to build a gear up Viper Mk II, havent decided yet about the blackbird, as for the state of modeling I was asking myself, are these garage kits better than mass produced plastic models and the answer is yes, as the cleanup is minimal and the care and accuracy used is superior the only exceptions might be fine molds star wars and the RM redone Viper and basestar, otherwise this is a great time to be a modeler, plastic kits may be dying but for the hardcore resin builder the accuracy and quality out here now is amazing
