Default MiniModelMadness kits? Opinions, please?

Hi...

I am hoping you guys will give me some opinions of the kits by a company called "MiniModelMadness." I see them on eBay, and am interested in a few (Botany Bay, Andorean Cruiser). The price seems very good for them, but I cannot get a good look at them.

Honest opinions please? Good for a newbie like me?

I've purchased a number of kits from MMI and have never had any real problems w/them. The quality is sometimes a bit hit & miss, but most of the time I've got some pretty decent quality kits. Expect potential long waits. I think the longest I had to wait, tho, was around 4 weeks, w/the average delivery time right around two weeks in my experience.

I don't have their Botany Bay, but do have a pair of his Andorian Cruiers and highly recommend them.

Hey, no problem. Glad to help.

Been thinking on what else I've bought from him and I remember the following:

Quote:
Andorian Cruiser 2 EA
BSG Rising Star (not a great kit)
BSG Mining Ship (not a great kit)
BSG Colonial Movers (not a great kit)
BSG Cylon Tanker (2 EA, not a great kit)
Deep Space Station K-7 in 1/1000 scale
TOS Tholian Cruiser (set of 2)
Valley Forge kit from Silent Running
Event Horizon (from the movie of the same name)
Space:1999 Arra Shuttle

Hi Jeffrey. Thanks for this. I started with the TOS Tholian ship. I will get the Andorian ship too soon, and am thinking of the Botany Bay and also the Firefly from Serenity... anyone have the Firefly and care to comment on it? I would appreciate it.
