Very nice. Taking into the account the cost, and the blatant error Deagostini made with the wings, would you say that this kit is worth it?

Thanks Taz. To be honest mate considering what it is, i'd have to say that it's a real on the edge kinda deal. If you can live with all the detailing you are never going to see like the laser cannon and parts inside the rear most engines then I would say it's just on the edge of being worth it.

They could have dropped a few things, lowered the price point in realtion of such and then it would be a pretty good yes to that.

When it comes to big X-Wings, it's one of the only two games in town apart from ground up scratchbuild.

The other is getting one of the Hasbro legacy series toys and doing a set of wings/engines/cannons, adding a cockpit and so on, that will get you a decent model as i've seen some do with them. Either by doing it all yourself or paying out for upgrades of which Falcon 3D parts do quite a bit for it.

Of course there's the electronics to consider so bottom line from my end, it's up to the buyer. It wasn't that big of a deal for me and I would have thought any experienced modeler could handle what this one would throw at you.

'Nuff waffle for now methinks.
