I might be able to save this one, mabey some heavy weathering...dunno, Ill see what I can do with it after I run outta wine...

after ripping off the messed up decales, and some paint in the process, I repainted and began some heavy weathering to fix up the areas where the clearcote flashed the decals, and the paint repairs. added some spot painting for normal repainting during wartime...ect. its getting back to a reasonable plane again, and I remarked it for a different squadron, so I had to repaint the spinner and prop blades.

that wing in the background...is an A6E wing, same scale...just for a comparison.
