Default Star Trek USS Franklin 1/1400 3D Print

So it's been quite a while since I posted here and I'll admit I'm a bit lapsed as a model builder but still I love building my collection of 1/1400 scale Star Trek ships. After finally getting a 1400 scale Intrepid-Type from Resin Modeller, I was looking for the next ship to add to the collection.

It was an easy choice. The USS Franklin from Star Trek Beyond since it fits fairly well into the main Star Trek timeline and it's a cool-looking ship!

Unfortunately I could not find one from any manufacturer so I took it on myself to make one. I found a model made by user David Metlesits on DeviantArt and modified it to make it 3D Print Ready (I'm currently working with the original modeler to make it available for other interested users). I used the 137m length from Ex Astris Scientia making it just under 4 inches long at this scale. There is one small error I need to fix and that is to shrink the base of the pylons so that it can fit into the slots in the saucer. Right now, the two are the exact same size in the 3D files so they'll require some sanding in order to fit properly.

Here is the Franklin alongside the Resin Modeler Intrepid and the PNT NX-01 models at 1/1400 scale
