I don't think that the hotel is actually booked full just yet for that weekend. However, I could be wrong. As I mentioned to Chris via PM, the problem tends to be w/going to the corporate site or calling the corporate reservations folks directly. Not sure if it's something to do w/the room block setup, but that's my thinking. If you contact the hotel directly, they can hook you up w/o any problems. They usually don't book solid 'til around Jan/Feb.

It's cheaper than their regular room rate, I can assure you. You could always stay at one of the other hotels nearby, but IMNSHO, it's usually best to stay there at the site of the show. That way you don't have nearly as far to go to cart your purchases, see folks and/or if you drink and need to get back to where you're staying.

The wife and I are (hopefully) travelling in May to stay a week with her cousin and husband who live outside Louisville. So, assuming nothing bad happens between now and then, it looks like I'll be able to see the show one day while we're there. You should take the riverboat dinner cruise if you're coming as a couple. It's a lot of fun and very cool. We did it one year and had a great time.

Awesome news! Make sure to get at least two of our cell numbers so you can get in touch w/us. It's a busy weekend and there's no telling what might be going on, who might be where and whether or not we bailed Jon outta jail again.
