no real update from me, the Viper is ready for pre-shading and base coat, its just that the area where my workbench has been about 112 degrees since its been stinking hot here in the Pacific Northwest.

So I got a lot of work done on this tonight. I did a lot of soldering which you won't see in the pics. You know, grunt work.
 Here we go: The stand (I pray it works because I'm having problems):  The damn LED for the fiber optics decided that it was too damn big to fit thru the hole that I cut for it so it ended up on the floor. I need to paint the pilot, which I have put off. Hopefully the beer gods will shine down on me and I will do a decent job.

I didnt coat mine at all, I just stuck the decals on there.

Let there be light.
    Also, there is a thin blue light around the front of the engines which is really hard to take a picture of. Here's the best that I could do.  I need to paint up my pilot. What colors are you guys using?

-Refit1701 (John) The world's coming to an end: Round 2 has announced they are releasing the TOS E next year in 1/350th scale. Actually, if they change their mind or get bought out, their world WILL come to an end....
