Well this is the start of the kit supplied by Toney at Hunk of Junk productions.I''ve posted a review of the kit elsewhere,so Straight to painting.
The first shot is the basic colour.I've gone with the bluey grey seen about midway in the film.Tamiya field blue was sprayed in thin coats.

The face and hands are just blocked in for contrast.
next a lighter blue was mixed in and the highlights added.Vallejio wash of blue/black was added to parts of the suit ribbing and joints,then pastels were added to give more definition.


This will later be covered partialy with a sand coloured pastel for weathering.

Thanks Tony.had a trip to the coast this morning with the dog(6.00am.groan) Picked up some fine sand from the dunes.Hope it works.More soon

Well FINALLY got round to taking some shots of the finished kit.
The rope and nose filters were added and a custom base with nameplate
