I am suprised nobody meantioned the Trumpeter 1/35 BMP-3 MICV that landed in the States earlier this week. I just got mine yesterday. Yes it does have a interior and my god it has more guns than a IFV should be allowed to have (3x 7.62mm MG's Coaxial and Bow mounted, 30mm Auto Cannon in the Turret, 100mm Cannon in the turret). Oh and those of you with Dragons BMP-1 and BMP-2 Trumpeter is coming out later this year with workable track links for the BMP1/2. BTW The tracks in the BMP-3 kit are sweet they are a 2 piece affair with the track link and guide horn being seperate parts.

Hmmm.....Seems TRUMPETER delivered on time.

Though for a "fire power" guy like yourself Mikey,I'd like to recommend
their up-coming BMP-3M.It looks like one damn difficult to kill piece of equipment!

Firefox M31...Pegasus has started releasing their planned kits,so my guess
is that the Nautilus should be out before the end of the year. At 1/144
scale,it'll look especially cool docked beside other 1/144 subs.

This link gets regular up-dates.I recommend checking it often. But I should
point out that there are some planned releases that escape listing.

From the looks of it,it would seem that a possible
large scale (1/32+) British WWII TYPHOON (I'm guessing) is in the works....

Here's a mock-up of the cockpit so far.

a 1/48 Pilatus Turbo Porter from the movie Air America.

I think I just busted a nut, too.

Yes I can.

Actually, this appears to be the work of the mysterious....

Mr. Song.

At one time I thought he was a major player in the R&D of kits for
TRUMPETER,but it seems that this guy does work for other model companies in China too.I can see that I'm gonna have to join one of the
boards he frequents, and extend a personal invite to join us at RI.I've
been following his Photobucket page.

However,if I had to guess,my money would be that the TYPHOON is a
future TRUMPETER project.

Helluva find Cat!

I loved the scene where the plane landed virtually on the side of
the mountain.Though I'm wondering if the blue trim will be supplied as decals,or if you only get the AIR AMERICA logos.

Incidently...I found a few interesting images on Mr. Song's
photobucket albums. Some of the stuff is WIPs for TRUMPETER,
others are sprue shots (Yak-38...1/48 I'm guessing),some are pieces
of work that are on the verge of being released, and strangely.....

Research papers/manuals.

Future projects I'm guessing.

Here's some photos.Draw your own conclusions.

I will say this for Mr. Song. This guy definitely knows his stuff, and
actually listens to what people want, and tries to give it to 'em.

LOL! There's a runway in Castlewood Va that's a lot like that. I've landed there in a C150. It's best to have already shat before landing like that!

The blue trim is included, but I'm going to paint it on mine. They give markings to duplicate the plane in the movie, plus a couple of REAL Air America planes too.

As an aside, I downloaded a really fine Turbo Porter for Flight Simulator X, but that's for another thread

That's the second boxing no less, the first one being a gunship. Me thinks I'll have to go pick one up sooner than later. Guessing we'll be seeing other boxings in the future too.

My old Czech resin kit of this bird is in the storage bin at the moment; I wonder how they would compare to each other?

Yet another 1/35 "torpedo slinger" in the works...

A Soviet G-5 Torpedo Boat by MASTER BOX LTD.

It appears that a variety of kits are planned that can be configured in a variety of weapon loads carried by this type of boat.

http://www.modelshipwrights.com/modu...ticle&sid=6469

Personally,I like the sleek, racing boat design.

Thanks for the close up pics, U-boater!

I wonder why no one talks about this kit here, maybe all here are resin dust sniffers? I am glad they push this sucker out in plastic. I hate resin kits!
