I did this last year and thought all of you might like to see it, this is one ship you dont see built any where much.

I bought 3 of these from Chris when he fist put them out. I have also built others for people as well. The kit was very clean and is a really big kit.

When I built the kit believe it or on I put screws in the kit to hold the engines on and the wings. The color is no less then 10 shades of green or more, and was done with a makeup sponge and small brushes.

I had thrown a base together just to hold it, made out a old chopping block. I did not want to drill holes in it, so I bent some rods and just set it on the stand. I liked the look of the stand, so I sanded it down, added the plate up front, and it was done.

I still have one kit still in the box for a later date..Kev

Now THOSE are the BEST photos I have seen of this kit yet!

The simulated warp and window lighting was done very well!

Excellent job Kev! :D

I agree with the above. That looks cool. Can this kit still be had?

Chris sold them Iain Tennant ( I think that is his last name spelling?) in the UK. Iain has since closed up shop and is selling the Valdore master and molds. ;) He sold the master of the Warbird that is being sold on eBay right now to a collector in Greece. It is that collector that is now selling that same master on eBay.

If interested, you may reach Iain through his email here...

I don't know if that email is still good, but it is worth a shot.

I was discussing with Iain the possibility of obtaining the Valdore, but have since decided to have one scratch built eventually. Even though this kit is already large, the scratch version (which very well could turn into a FG kit) will be a bit larger than the current beastie Kev made shine in this thread.

I hope you find what you seek! :D
