The more I look at that ship, the more I like it. A good, well-thought-out design.

Great job - especially on the paint. I love the subtle weathering!

I too like this design. :happy6: Never seen it before.

Do you have a website for this moonbase site?

I have no clue who Moonbase Models is, but I really like that design! I'm guessing this is about to be released? If not, when was it previously released?

It sorta helps that when I used to play the old West End Games Star Wars RPG my smuggler characters ship was named Wayfarer. :D

Hey all,
Thanks for the kind words on the model.

Moonbase Models is..... well...... me.
I've previously released acurrizing parts for the R/M Vipers..... (Cockpit set, Rear Engine Detail, and Burner Can set) And I did masters and a few pulls of four different 1/1000 conversion kits for the Polar Lights TOS E.
This one, a Hermes Class Destroyer, Longbow Class Torpedo Crusier and Federation Class Dreadnought.
They just never got alot of interest so the release was shelved. The Wayfarer here was built to use as the box art for it's kit.
So there you guys have it.

Where have you been selling these thru? I've never heard of a Longbow Class Torpedo Crusier before. And the only Hermes Class Destroyer & Federation Class Dreadnought conversion kits I ever saw were from PNT Models. I had no idea anyone else was selling conversions for those!

:black_knight_standi I think this guy is looking for you! ;)

But I agree with Griffworks, I had no idea that this was available. If you decide to bring this back... try a little shout please!

I think you now have some people attentions now. :hammer:

Talen,
This is the picture that I based my conversion kit on. I just thought it had a very cool look to it.

I'll take inventory of what I have and, if I still have some around, I can make them available just for members on the board...... if you guys would be interested.
Or if any one wants to partner up and do some box art..... I could trade services.... and really make them available, if more people are interested.

Well, It's been quite a while.

But I know there was interest from some of you on the board here so I am just letting you all know that I finally got the molds for this ship.... (and two or three other ones)... back into my hands, as well as a few first casting pulls.

So if any one is still interested...... let me hear from you.

What I have is 1/1000 scale converstions for the Polar Lights Enterprise.

I have the Wayfarer Class Research Crusier shown here,

The Longbow Class Torpedo Crusier....

Hermes class Scout...

And the Federation Class Dreadnought..

nice, very pre constitution type design..............

Not a (pre) Constitution design.

It's supposed to be a class that is operational during the same time period.

Note the registery number. It's class run is the 1600 range which puts it only slightly ahead of the Constitution.
