And here's another project underway - the IMPERIAL v-wing. I'm using a titanium series Imp v-wing for reference. More pics as progress warrants!

Scale is 1/48, and is available from SSM. It includes republic and imperial markings.

Ah yes, the SSM one. Looks pretty sharp and well detailed. I think Thorsten Dressel mastered this, a brilliant pattern-maker. Looking forwards to seeing this one finished!

Does it come with a Clear Vacu formed Canopy ??? or you need to "Cut out" the Full Resin one...??

Just a question !

It comes with a resin canopy plug, and also TWO clear canopies and a fully detailed cockpit including proper V-wing pilot, as seen in the incredible cross-sections book!

After a long hiatus, the V-wing is back on the table. Sorry about the delay for the folks hoping to see some progress pics. This is my only current project, so more frequent updates can be expected. And speaking of updates, here you go!

Here's my reference. So, like I said, this is going to be an imperial V-wing, so the colours won't be the traditional Republic white and red. I wanted to capture the fighter mid transition, so the pilot still has the same look as a republic v-wing pilot, not the all-black uniform of the imperials. The droid is still the subject of much self-debating - or masterdebating - as I like to call it. Any suggestions would be welcome. I would kind of like to have a colourful droid, republic style - this would also serve to capture the transition aesthetic!
