Hey there Ian. Nice build. Like you have on your build. I was wondering, the area that you leave the metal tape off on the inside of the sauser, when backlit seems to have a somewhat hard edge. And a spotlight's edge, the firther from the light source, seems to feather out. Do you think that airbrushing the edge of this area with black or silver paint a person could control the feathering of the light that shows thru ? I'm about to start my Polar Lights Kit and would like to get your opinion. Thanks a bunch.

And dragging this thread up from the back of beyond...;)
It's pretty much a done deal but like that thing you always put in a safe place and forget where that place is, the stick of pics turned up so here's a couple of update pages.
More to follow, about one page left to plaster up and it's all over from my perspective. All that's really left is to give it a damn good wash and hand it over in person to the airbrush wizard to do his thing once he's finished a book he be a writing.
I'll be yakkin' to him about that as time goes on but that's another story.
Anyways, here we be...

What?!? A kit you have remains in the box even after all the lighting nonsense you have pulled off with style? I sense a great disturbance in the force over that comment.

That lighting is just stunning mate. You've captured the look perfectly, always liked the floods shining up on the pylons.:) Deeply cool.
Great to see that shuttle bay interior again. I think that is just uber-cool, especially the little shuttle in flight heading out the door. In fact, seeing that interior in progress a while back made me decide to build a detailed bay inside my Galactica bays, insted of the traditional matte painting. Can't beat the real deal!
