Guys,
If you are looking for a color to base coat your TARDIS, I found just the thing...
Krylon Oxford Blue Satin finish. I found it at walmart, but i'm sure it's available wherever fine paints are sold.
I rushed this project in ahead of finishing the War machine due to a birthday deadline, ( I hope their not reading this post)
after it was dried, I sanded the hight spots with a fine sanding sponge, then went over it with a wash of acrylic flat black, mixed with the TARDIS color provided in the kit.
A coat of dull satin clear coat to blend it all (and intentionally fog the windows a bit) then applied the stickers.
Enjoy

Possession is 9/10 of the laws of time and space.
Working on the figs, I did decide to try to tackle the pinstriping, bit the eyes are tasking me.
I'm willing to believe a lot of crazy things in this life. But nobody can tell me that the figures that were painted for the box and instruction art were the same size as the kit figures. they have to be bigger prototypes or something.

Added some more greeblies to the inside of the TARDIS consol. I know it goes largely unseen (even with the door opened) but I thought it needed more stuff than what comes with the kit.

here's the latest and probably last round of photos.
Pardon Martha's glossyness, but I ran out of dull coat and need to get more.
check out those shoes! some great decals via Mr James!
The Doctor looks a bit wide eyed, but I chalk that up to surprise over a finished kit

Haha, I mde the exact same discovery with the Krylon paint! Sadly, I've been having an absolute BEAR of a time painting the figures! More to the point, the paint isn't drying at all! I think I will have to replace a bunch of my paint in the very near future!

Thats looks great.great striping and the inside of the Tardis is excellent.Wish I'd thought of that. The decals are no longer available I think.Culttvman did have them but they are no longer listed. For my kit I put LEDs inside to illuminate the console..The fit of the roof is not great. If you haaven't glued the top yet try it and run the wires down the corner, and use a seperate battery
