VF-1 Valkyrie + Moscato Atmospheric Booster [image heavy]

Hi chaps,
Thought I might share a work in progress. John Moscato's Atmospheric Booster + Hasegawa's 1:72 Macross Valkyrie.

The final pic here is far from 'final' - quite a bit of work still needs to go into the engine bells, and the delineation between panels is too strong, I will be going over the booster with the airbrush a couple of times again. And there's still a bit of work on the cockpit, but I hope to finish up soon. I might even be finishing it up this weekend... maybe! I'll just let the pics speak for themselves.

I didn't really care for the design when I first saw the kit, but after seeing what you did with it, I love it! That's a really awsome finish. What kind of paint did you use for the engine bells?

Holy crap! Those are some huge boosters. I don't remeber seeing that set up in the Macross show. Doing a great job

The silver paint is Alclad II 'Polished Aluminium' - an amazing product, but needs a lot of prep to get to that stage.

Ditto on the engine bells, that's so close thought at first they were indeed metal. Rest of the bird very nice also.
