Here's summat woody. Frames for the hull and the keel were parts cut from sheet wood going by plans, all the rest scratchbuilt.

Excellent work! The detailing is superb, love the subject matter. I've done a few woodies in my time, they require a lot of skill to get this nice, nice job! :wink:

I was going through a stage that i wanted to get into ship modeling in a serious fashion, sadly rising costs of transportation (selling the models once done) got out of hand so all ideas got scrapped.

My 1/48th US 1842 Frigate was a casualty there sadly, just had to grave the hull and move on...
