The Chris Kelley "Almost" Studio Scale Vader TIE Advanced Fighter I built.

I completely sanded down the inaccurate surface panel scribing and replaced all the panels with hand cut sheet styrene panels. The cockpit frame was scratchbuilt, and it has a detailed lit cockpit and engine lights and if you look carefully, you can see Vader as he is about to exclaim "I have you now!"

It's the model I probably spent the most amount of time building and trying to accurize as best I could until someone steps up and does a perfectly studio accurate version.

Enjoy-

Thanks Rel!

I'm nowhere near capable of the clarity of detail that your work encompasses, and it's a high compliment to know you like it!

Jerry.... accurate or not.... your artistry with this piece is BAD ASS!!! I was hoping you would post this piece for some time. :)

I remember you posting the updates on the RPF... I wonder if you would post some of how you did this beastie in the "Works in Progress" area? I remember being quite impressed with what and how you did things. :D
