In 1994, my ride was a ten year old Firebird. I LOOOOVED that car. I had to sell it in 98 due to unavoidable circumstances. I still miss it.

The kit is a Revell (I think?) Snaptite. I filled in the T-Tops and swapped the wheels for some that better resembled the wheels on my car.

The color of the real car was something like Moonlight Sand Metallic or somesuch. I found a factory bottle of touchup paint, thinned it, and airbrushed it on. All the details on the inside and outside are as close as I could get them.

Inside, you'll find a Coke can (from a military kit), a cassette tape case, and in the back floorboard you'll see a Colt AR-15A2 that I was rather fond of.

Hangar rash has deprived me of the driver's side rearview. I also had a 1/32nd copy if the Feb 1994 issue of Playboy (Red, with Anna Nicole Smith on the cover), but it has long since fallen out.

I miss that car.

OMFG! I used to own a jet black '84 Firebird with T-Tops and a 5.0 V8.

Ho-lee-shit! For me that's going back to.....'93?

Probably the best handling car I ever drove.....even better than the '00 and '04 Mustang GT's I've owned.

Only thing that pissed me off were the T-Tops had a tendency to leak and the headlight motors kept burning out on me. Fast car though.

I'll have to dig up some photos if I can find them. I know I have some still of my '67 Firebird......

I know what you mean about handling. DAMN that car was a dream.

Big Jim, go grab a car! Makes for a good therapeutic build!

I converted something like this to K.I.T.T. back in '82. Had a lot of fun with what was then a 'new style' GM F-body. Thought it was radical looking at the time.
