So, I'm back with another build. After being teased for so long, and seeing other models like this that I want for hundreds of dollars -and the wrong scale - I've decided, after finding the right kit to start with, that I'm going to bash my own!!:glasses9:

How is it that the battleship is based on a Saber?

Well, it's not based on a Saber, it's just that for the scale and size, the Saber fit the dimensions the closest. Nor will I be using the entire 'hull.' The nose is going to be cut off just aft of the cockpit, and the top will be cut down to make room for the upper decks and the base of the command tower.

So I'm new to these forums and I love the old anime ships like the EDF ships, Yamato, and Andromeda. So how is the progress on this? Can't wait to see it finished. Nice start let us see more.

Not much more done than you see. Other projects intruded and I'm currently on my 'off' modeling period. I do have plans for it though, as I'm thinking about doing it with battle damage.

And being new here, maybe means being new to other sites too..? Have you seen this guys work? http://www.geocities.jp/dourakuoyadi/index.html

I too take time off from modeling from time to time. Helps keep from getting burned out. Look forward to seeing a battle damaged version.

I have seen his work. I too aspire to some day achive the quality level he has.
