Its a shame that Rob fucked Bar and quite a few people on this kit, i really liked it, but had to get rid of it to pay bills, and im still behind on them.
Anyway, i sure wish Barry would do an updated version, with the same base, that would ROCK!!

That base came with the kit, Bar scratched it too, it was painted a metalic hammertone paint and had some thinned copper wash and the symbol was highlighted with bare metal foil.

Barry, at the risk of derailing your thread, you can't help who you fall in love with. It just happens. I didn't know your ex was an American. All I've ever been with are other Americans, so I don't really know what it's like to be with someone from a different culture. It seemed like many of the English girls were pretty nice. All a cute one had to do was just say something to charm the hell out of me, as to us, those accents are something else! But I haven't been over there in 19 years and was only there for 4 days, so I didn't have time to form a lasting impression of them. I've never met any of your Scot lasses, unfortunately. Nor did I have a chance to get down to Oz to meet any of theirs, though I missed the chance by a very slim margin because when we were within sailing range, it was the Ozzie winter down there, so we went to Thailand instead.

It seems like many American women can't seem to figure out what they want. They're sometimes flighty and confused, which I don't find attractive qualities at all. I prefer them confident, smart and sensible, while being kind and approachable at the same time.

Irony of ironies, that's EXACTLY what Dana was like.
The crazy thing is that we had LOADS of stuff in common. She's a scifi geek, and a HUGE Stargate fan(We met a Stargate convention!).
In the end(As CRAZY as it may seem), i think we had TOO MUCH in common...
Kind of left us nowhere to go...
She is still in contact every now and then. For what reason, i don't know...
And yesterday, she messaged me on MSN to "let me know" she's coming to the UK in november...
She dumped me, so i can't fathom why she'd even bother. It's not like we're going to bump into each other...(Although i do miss the bumping part, to be honest)
If we do bump into each other, this time, i'm taking pictures...

Seriously, the chick sounds like she's realizing that she made a mistake and wants to keep options on the table. Don't fall for that. From experience it's better to just cut off contact and avoid her. For their type, they get a thrill out of playing games. You don't need that. As soon as she thinks she has you, then she gets bored. And on and on it goes. Then they bellyache at the same time that they can't find anyone decent... and wind up unhappy. Her loss, man. I speak from not just one experience, but several. The insanity seems to be hardwired in. They're not all like that, but it seems like most of them are.

Hey, I'm all for getting the tail. Unfortunately that can become a 'weapon'. Hell, what am I saying... you know what you're doing. But I've certainly fallen for that, and gotten myself burned. It ain't worth it. Lots of tail out there... or so I keep telling myself! So now, I don't play 'second fiddle'. It's either all or nothing if the relationship is serious. Backup is bullshit. Even the ex-wife was doing that and sometimes I think she still does. As much as I'd like to have our family back together, it would be very toxic for all of us, and for me especially.
